Does anyone know where is that place exactly in the island of Ile d'Orléans? Google map link or something would be nice.
I'd like to take my family to visit there in the summer, but I just wanna be sure about the exact location.
Thank you in advance.
Cheers, Tarmo
Hello Tarmo…Ozanie Nadeau would also be my first great grandfather in North America…I believe there are seven parishes on the ell d’Orleans they are 10 miles apart usually walking distance…Ste-Famille is about 10 miles from the east end of the island…and Francis would be at the end of the island… St. Francis is also where my first great grandfather Laflamme comes from… you enter the island from the West end of the island… when you cross the bridge bear left onto the main road and travel to Ste-Famille you’ll find a beautiful home which has all the information you will need… it is right next to the parish in Ste-Famille who knows I may see you there… I do have a few pictures of the area if you wish to see them my email is nlaflamme873@yahoo.com have a nice day Noel…
Based on the information in Joseph-Ozanny Nadeau's profile, he used to own the lots 224 and 226.
I found an old map of Ile d'Orleans where the lot numbering has been marked.. You can find the maps from the below link: I marked the lot (226) owned by Mr. Nadeau with red square.

As today, seems to be forests, some fields and strawberry plantation.
Noel mentioned a beautiful house in Ile d'Orleans. I believe the house is called "House of Ancestors", which is indeed very beautiful house. Link for their home page:
