I'm searching for "Benjamin Frank".
I get too many results.
So in "quick search" i added his YoB: 1883
still too many results
then i add his PoB: Meppel
no results at all
yet, here he is
Benjamin Frank
Benjamin Frank, born 1883 in Meppel
I just wonder how many more I've missed...
I had read in a discussion thread, i thought in the past year, that the Location filter had been vastly improved. My personal experience had been that it does not work at all.
I typed "geni Benjamin Frank Meppel" into my google search bar and the very first result I get is the profile you quote.
I don't usually use location names but you'd be surprised how often Google can find exactly the profile I am looking for, and with people who's names are "common" adding an immediate family members name to the search will narrow down the candidates.
