Leofwin de Hindley - I'm Confused

The Overview notes on several of these state:

"If the lineage is correct, from what I have found the Hindley lineage begins in 1080"

and yet the lineage keeps going on back with nothing documenting those before this Leowin b. 1080. What are the sources / documentation from here on back?
