According to The Peerage of Ireland by Edward Kimble (1768), Andrew had 2 sons, Sir George and John, who died unmarried. Sir George died in 1519 and was succeeded by his son, John.

The prefix to The Peerage states that the information has been collected from Parliament Rolls, Family Documents and Personal Information from many Noble Peers. Given the dates and this record, it is more probable that John is Andrew's grandson, not his son.

So you are suggesting that Andrew Duff needs two sons added (George and John) and then the current son, John Duff, Sr. , needs to be moved to being George's son?

Andrew Duff 's DOB is 1490 and death 1515 making him 25 at time of death. At an extreme he could perhaps father a child in 1505 but even so by the time that child dies in 1519 there's no way he himself could have a son.

The math doesn't add up, which means other details are likely wrong.
