Recently, I found out that my grandfather fathered a child during WW2 while overseas in Scotland.
What I can share is that my grandfather's daughter's mother was b. 1901 d. 1980. Her mother was Jeanie Wallace Rodger, daughter of John Rodger 1868-1937 and Jane Wallace b.c. 1868 d. between 1901-1910.
It is Jane Rodger's (nee Wallace) parents that I am trying to find information on. Her parents were John Wallace & Jane Lowe (died before Dec. 31, 1889). I know she died before Dec. 1889 as that is when John Rodger & Jane Wallace were married and it is mentioned in the marriage record that Jane Wallace (nee Lowe) was deceased.
I am hoping to find the marriage record of John Wallace & Jane Lowe in hopes that their parents are mentioned.
If anyone can help me find the above information, it would be greatly appreciated.
