I do not think James Brown who was born 1697 and married Sarah How May 5 1719. then Deborah Rice Jan 26 1724-5 then Mary Cloyce Dec. 7th 1727 and finally Thankful is the son of Elizabeth Brown Harvey Applegate and Daniel Applegate.
I do not know the parents of James but he lived and married all four wives in Marlborough MA. My line is through his daughter Mary from his 3rd wife Mary Claice who married Ichabod Carley
