6. ISRAEL 2 STOWELL (Samuel 1) was born in Hingham,
Mass., 10 Aug. 1670, d. Newton, Mass., 7 Aug. 1725, age 55. m.
Abigail Fuller, dau. of Lt. Samuel and Mary Fuller, b. Barnstable,
Mass., about 1674, d. Newton, Mass., 11 April 1718.
Israel resided in Hingham, Mass., until about 1702, then Newton,
Mass. He was a weaver.
For probate records of Israel see pages 27 and 28.
Israel Stowell of Hingham, weaver, and Abigail his wife,
sell to John Lewis of Hingham one-third of a lot of planting
land, formerly laid out by the inhabitants of Hingham, to
Stephen Paine ; theirs by inheritance from Samuel Stowell, the
father of Israel, 19 Jan. 1699. (Suff. Deeds.)
David Stowell, son and surviving Executor of Samuel
Stowell, confirms sale of this land which formerly belonged to
his father and the within one-third part of which was set aside
as Israel's share and quit claims for himself and heirs all right
to said land, 8 March 1699. (Suff. Deeds.)
Isaac Patch of Newton sells to Israel Stowell of Dedham,
Suffolk Co., land in Newton, 15 Oct. 1716. Wife Edith releases
dower. 13 Feb. 1716, Israel Stowell and Abigail, his wife, sell
land in Newton to Charles Chambers, Jonathan Dowe, Jonathan
Remington, Edmund Goffe and Jonas Bond. (Midd. Deeds.)
Children of Israel and Abigail (Fuller) Stowell:
i. Abigail 3, b, Hingham, Mass., 13 Sept. 1699, m. Newton, Mass.,
7 Feb. 1734, Josiah Pease of Upton, son of Jonathan and Elizabeth
(Booth) Pease, b. Enfield, Conn., 1706.
Robert Pease came from Ipswich, England in April 1634 in
ship Frances, with wife Marie and settled in Salem. His second
son, John, probably born in England about 1630, married Mary
Goodell, dau. of Robert Goodell. She died 5 Jan. 1669. His
fifth child was Jonathan, born Salem, 2 Jan. 1669. Jonathan
married 11 Oct. 1692, Elizabeth Booth. They had eight children,
of whom the sixth was Josiah, who married Abigail Stowell.
Children of Josiah and Abigail (Stowell) Pease:
1. Josiah, b. Upton, Mass., 28 June 1735, d. there 20 July
1814, m. there 14 July 1757, Lydia Nutting, b. 1737, d.
Upton, Mass., 1 Feb. 1811, age 74. Children: i. Abigail,
ii. Mary, iii. Aaron, iv. Josiah, v. Stowell.
16. ii. Israel, b. Newton, Mass., about 1703.
iii. Elizabeth, b. Newton, Mass., 1705, d. Upton, Mass., 1774, unmarried.
In administration of estate of Israel Stowell, 14 Nov.
1726, Elizabeth is described as of age. (Midd. Prob.)
Will of Elizabeth, probated 26 Aug. 1774, Dr. Josiah Deane,
sole Executor, bequeathes to sister Temperance Ozling, to sister 's
son, Jonathan Ozling, to brother Israel Stowell, to sister's son,
Josiah Pease. (Midd. Prob. No. 57141.)
17. iv. Isaac, b. Newton, Mass., 1708.
v. Temperance, b. Newton, Mass., 1712, m. Newton, Mass., 23
Nov. 1736, Jonathan Osland, son of John and Sarah (Hyde)
Osland, b. Newton, Mass., 30 June 1706. In administration
of estate of Israel Stowell, 14 Nov. 1726, Temperance is described
as a minor in her 15th year and Robert Murdoch is
appointed her guardian. (Midd. Prob.)
Children (Osland) :
1. Esther, b. Newton, Mass., 25 Aug. 1738.
2. Jonathan.
3. Hannah, m. 1744, William Burrage, son of John and
Lydia (Ward) Burrage.

Description
The Mayflower Quarterly, August 1988, page 204-5 state that there is no proof of Abigail's surname and the evidence is she is not a Fuller. I have a copy of this article.

You cannot join the Mayflower Society on this line now.

The church where Is Israel Stowell and Abigail were married burned and there are no records of their marriage.

Married Mary _____.
"He must not be confounded with Capt. Samuel Fuller, killed at Rehoboth, Aug 15, 1676, who was the son of Robert Fuller, of Salem and whose wife was Mary Ide" Mary Ide Married Samuel Fuller from Rehoboth in 1673. She could not have married this Lieut. Samuel Fuller because he was having children with his Wife Mary _____ during that time period.

Mary ___ was born about 1640 in Plymouth. She married Samuel Fuller before 1660 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. She died in Barnstable, Massachusetts.

An estimated date of birth for Mary, wife of a man born in 1635 would be about 1640. She would be about 21 at time of marriage in 1661. [1]

Circa 1661 Samuel married Mary, whose maiden name remains unknown. She was living Aug. 7, 1696 at Barnstable as her husband's widow. They had the following seven children, all b. at Barnstable, Mass.:

i. Capt. Thomas Fuller, b. circa 1662, d. Nov. 21, 1719 at Barnstable, Æ 58; m. Dec. 29, 1680 at Barnstable, Elizabeth Lothrop, dau. of Capt. Joseph Lothrop (Rev. John1) & Mary Ansel, b. Sept. 18, 1659 at Barnstable, Mass. She survived her husband and was living at Barnstable Jan. 13, 1718/9. Eight children of the family.
ii. Jabez Fuller, b. circa 1664, d. bef. Sept. 15, 1711 at Middleborough, Mass.; m. circa 1687 poss. at Sandwich, Mass., Mary Hallett, dau. of Joseph Hallett & Elizabeth Gorham. She was b. circa 1667 at Barnstable and d. after May 11, 1711 at Middleborough, Mass. Six children b. of record at Barnstable.
iii. Ann Fuller, b. circa 1670, d. July 2, 1722 at Barnstable, Mass., Æ 53 (g.s.); m. Apr. 29, 1689 at Barnstable, Joseph Smith, s. of Rev. John Smith & Susannah Hinckley. He was b. Dec. 6, 1667 at Barnstable, Mass. and d. there Mar. 14, 1746/7, Æ 80. Thirteen children of record at Barnstable.
iv. Timothy Fuller, b. circa 1671, d. Nov. 30, 1748 at East Haddam, Conn., Æ 78 (g.s.); m. 1) by late 1694 Sarah Gates at Haddam, Conn., dau. of Capt. George Gates & Sarah Olmstead. She was b. Mar. 16, 1669/70 at Haddam and d. after the birth of her son Samuel in Sept. 1711. Seven children of record at East Haddam, Conn. Timothy m. 2) by early 1715, Mary Champion, dau. of Thomas Champion and Hannah Brockway, b. of record July 31, 1693 at Lyme, Conn. She d. Dec. 12, 1770 at East Haddam, Conn., Æ 78 (g.s.). Eight children of the marriage.
v. Matthias Fuller, b. circa 1672, d. unmarried betw. Aug. 7, 1696 and May 6, 1697 while serving as a soldier in Phips' Expedition against the French in Canada. Left a will naming his brother Timothy as executor of his estate.
vi. Abigail Fuller, b. circa 1674, d. Apr. 11, 1718 at Newton, Mass.; m. Apr. 4, 1704 at Hingham, Mass., Israel Stowell, s. of Samuel Stowell & Mary Farrow. He was b. Aug. 10, 1670 at Hingham, Mass. and d. Aug. 7, 1725 at Newton, Mass. Seven children of the family.
vii. Sgt. Samuel Fuller, b. Aug. 15, 1676 after his father's death, d. Sept. 29, 1716 at Mansfield, Conn., Æ 41; m. Oct. 3, 1700 prob. at Chilmark on Martha's Vineyard (Dukes County, Mass.), Elizabeth Thacher, dau. of Rev. Rhodolphus Thacher & Ruth Partridge. She was b. Mar. 1, 1671/2 at Duxbury, Mass. and d. after 1740 prob. at Mansfield, Conn. Seven children of the family, all recorded at Mansfield, Conn. Elizabeth m. 2) July 8, 1724 at Lebanon, Conn., Miles Standish, grandson of Capt. Myles Standish of the 1620 Mayflower and Plymouth Colony.
