If Hawise was born in England in 1062 then she was English (Anglo-Saxon) and not Anglo-Norman as was her husband Ralph.
It was apparently not unknown, after the Norman Conquest of 1066, for the daughter of a dispossessed Anglo-Saxon Thane to marry the new Norman Lord of the Manor.

The name Hawise though is an Ango-Norman name, which would mean that Hawise de Limesi was not born in England but in Normandy.

On the topic of Anglo-Normans, it was not only William the Conqueror who was a "Bastard" - all the Anglo-Normans would have been described as such by the unfortunate English after being conquered in 1066. This foreign occupation of England has now lasted almost 1,000 years.
I hope the Ukrainians don't have to suffer as much as the English have.
