NC Heritage Book, two different accounts of the</p><p><p>William McConnell family give somewhat conflicting & confusing information.</p></p><p><p>Both accounts list 13 children, one has Margaret b 1795 m Wm Carpenter with</p></p><p><p>children,the other lists no Margaret but has Martha b 1816 m to Wm Carpenter</p></p><p><p>and no Margaret listed! It is not uncommon for a man to marry the sister of his</p></p><p><p>deceased wife but one sister is omitted in each account.</p></p><p></p>
