I was wondering if the two daughters of Gwilym ap Jenkin could in reality be the same person with two husbands? It seems a bit odd to have to daughters who have grown adults to have the same name. I have seen where a first child died very early and then have a second with the same name.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Best,

It's a reasonable question! But it was very common for the medieval Welsh families to have a couple of children with the same name. Or more. I have seen 6.

If Peter Bartrum, in Welsh Genealogies, separates them, we show them as separate. (Because otherwise he would be giving one child all the spouses.)
