=== GEDCOM Note ===
AFN: Also, 10P8-SNK. Married 1761, Margaret Jones [18K0-S5H]; issue: Mary (1755), Sarah (1760), Christopher (1762), Ruth (1763), Morgan (1764), Shadrack (1765), Ann (1766), Thomas Jr. (1768), Mary (1768), Morgan (1770), Elizabeth (1772), Urith (1774), May (1778), Throuth (bef 1805). POBs cited as: Rowan Co. N;, <Maryland>; Scotland (i.e. Shadrack); West Sinking Springs, Washington, Tennessee. Dorthy Freiburg suggests that Uroth or Urith is a Welsh derivative of "Ruth"; but has not seen "Throuth" in records. Also, 10P8-SNK. Married (Unknown); issue: Thomas (1750), Urath (1752), Ann (1755), Mary (1760), Morgan (1762), Christopher (1768), Sarah (1770). All children cited as born <, Rowan, NC>.

Hello Cynthia, I descend from Ureth Uroth. Try to find documents as I can. The Washington Co., TN will and tax records show this daughter clearly. For the wife or marriage I do not have any records. I do believe the use of Bolling as his middle name could be in error?

Wife's husband? I use her but no proof as said above.

So I'm guessing you may have merged my profile without middle name into this one? I don't know how to follow that backwards.

For your benefit I recently had the following thread on a Maryland group:
MURRAY, Thomas Bolling? 1725-1805 of Maryland is my 6GGF according to searches. This
might lead to Valley Forge and maternal line for Rev War! Still exploring!
FLASH:: His mother is the question- some have Sarah Hawkins others ANN BOLLING --
seeking documentation (DNA study?)

My Thomas Speake married Elizabeth Bowling. A Thomas Bolling could

Susan Speake Sills The Bolling, Bowling.. is another rabbit hole, yes? This
is Murray surname, he is not in the DAR GRS but there is so much in Fold
3 that is more likely the PA man. I'm good back to daughter and his to
migration to 'NC now E TN'. I wo… See more

Terry Bowen not sure. The Bowling surname comes from
Lancanshire England, where it was apparently Bouring. My Speake
Family visited the area in 2013.

Betty Miller Kean It seems unlikely, I am thinking some Family
History done in the 70's tried to link us..I have DNA to compare-is
that possible?

Terry Bowen autosomal DNA is not reliable back far enough to get
to Pocahontas. If that Murray line was your possible line, then I
would say you are not a descendant.

Betty Miller Kean Not a Descendant of Matoaka, but blood related
(1st cousins etc.). My one Indian descendant is an unidentified
Nasemond woman and an Indian man named John Robins. They
entered our Tilghman family through Hugh
Mannocks/Maneaux...another may come from Mattachanna, sister
of Pocahontas.. They eventually settled at "Monie Hundred"
Manokin river when the Calverts opened land in Md. (Somerset
county)...

Anne Bolling did marry a Murray, however, I see no evidence of a son named
Thomas. Also, most sources show Anne being born ca. 1718, so she was not
having children in 1725. She seems to have started having children in the 1740s.

Good to know, my Thomas Murray has records after migrating south but
I'm trying to source him early years and parentage. 1725 • Baltimore
County, Maryland, poss Morgan and Sarah Hawkins??

Terry Bowen Anne Bolling was born and died in VA, so if your
Thomas Murray was born in MD she is not his mother. Not to
mention that she was not old enough.

LIKELY TMI but I would love to sort him for the purpose of Rev War patriot. Be well, cousin!

Yes, I don’t like that middle name either.

The About had the comment and link I pulled and put here and it makes me wonder if someone was trying to say don’t merge them but the wording “wife’s husband” adds to the confusion
