I believe that he was married and he had children. His sons might have come to South Africa or even him with his kids

He was born and died in Eersel in the Netherlands.
He lived with his brother Samuel and never married.
He was Jewish and Johannes Franciscus was not.

You really need to be looking elsewhere. Perhaps in Amsterdam where he was born (if that's corrrect)
