Christian Singer - Help me find further ancestors to Christian Singer

I have been trying for about 20 years with no luck at finding any ancestors of my third Great Grandfather, Christian Singer. I seem to keep hitting a complete dead end. My grandfather searched for more links for about 30 years prior to me taking up the quest. Any tips for me on how to proceed? I am totally stumped and so disappointingly frustrated! All help deeply appreciated! Thank you!!!
