Richard and Dorothy Marchant according to Wedmore Parish Records had 3 daughters called Maria:

1 Maria bap 27 Oct 1701 bur 15 Aug 1703
2 Maria bap 20 Dec 1704 bur 14 Apr 1705
3 Maria bap 18 Sep 1710

Maria no 3 would have been 13 if she had married John Beard. However, there was another Maria Marchant bap on 18 Jan 1701 to William and Elizabeth Marchant who seems a more likely candidate as the wife of John Beard and married him 19 Jul 1724 at Crewkerne.
