I guess Geni was catching up with itself. My son has mT Full Sequence and BIG Y (FTDNA) R-FT229561, R-m269 Y-111, R1b1b1a (Big Y) Results are attached to his profile.

The Geni platform relationship is not based on bloodline but everyone knows this. Somebody has changed something in their tree where I have lost my BLOOD connection but you can check yourself and you will see my son and I are blood related. Even if I appear cut-off from the Tree. DNA does not lie. Good Eye Ronald Thorp. Unfortunately I believe the tree will continue to change until it catches up with the DNA science.

After careful examination it appears Geni sidestepped my great grandfather Henry Jones Hosen Hosea and chose to show my relationship with his wife Caddie Dixon Hosea. This happens often when I am related in multiple ways. Actually I did not know my Dixon/Grayson lines were also related to Walter Scott. Based on this observation I am inclined to believe that the origianal Blood relationship still stands. The only need for clarification is the brother's father piece. Henry Jones Hosen Hosea had another wife and her children are where the first cousin piece comes from...I guess. Not sure which of his wives is Zebe Dee real mother but for sure for sure Henry Jones Hosen is my grandfather's father. Quinney Jarman, Caddie Dixon as far as I am concerned you are both my blood in multiple ways. Whew! God Bless the child.

Suggest Geni be upgraded to show multiple Lines of Relationship and this would be a big help for those like me with multiple lines of relationship. It will also prevent Geni from appearing to favor one pedigree tree over another. I think that is a good idea. Nobody owns the Relationship Paths so why not enable a similar feature. ??

I hope others chime in and let's hear your thoughts on expanding Geni.

Again, thank you Ronald Joe Thorpe for your observation. I do not want to claim any relationship that is not solid. This is why I provide the DNA Science to validate the "paper trails" which are prone to much human error. The Science cannot be disputed.
