Katherine Triplett - Katherine was born in the City of London

Katherine's father Robert Triplet (also spelt Triplett), was a freeman of the Stationers' Company and had his shop on Old Fish Street close to St Paul's Cathedral. Katherine and all her siblings were baptised in St Nicolas Cole Abbey, a few minutes walk from Old Fish Street.Katherine's baptism record shows that she was baptised on 2 July 1613, and her father was recorded as being Robert Triplet stationer. The Stationers' Company records show that Robert was from Bicester and his father from Hampton Gay both in Oxfordshire. In the Rev Thomas Triplett's will he refers to relatives in Hampton. There was a different extended Triplett family, from which I'm descended, in Cornwall and Devon.
