I am a direct descendent of John Hart, he is my great-great-great Grandfather. His son William (b. 1844/45, d. 15 Aug 1902) is my gr-gr Grandfather. In William's Canadian census return of 1891 he list the birth place of his father (John Hart) as United States and his mother (Elizabeth) as Ireland. The 1861 Census states Elizabeth is a widow, aged 52.
