Aaron Jones - Wrong Aaron?

I think that you have the wrong Aaron (Jones) as the father of Abraham Jacob Jones.

Abraham Jacob Jones was born Abraham Jacobs and adopted the name Jones. Yes he was Abraham ben Aaron (see Great Synagogue Records) but his father was, in western style, Aaron Jacobs (1774-1839. His mother was Judith Jonas (1778-1860) from whose family name AJJ revised the name to Jones, it would appear.

Aaron son of Abraham “Groomsfelt” Jones, as you have it, is one of the King’s Lynn Jones’, the dynasty of Dentists with the odd optician. Aaron Jacobs and his son AJJ are the patriarchs of a London family of Jones’.
