1. ?István? (Könnyen lehet, hogy Ottó volt a királyi pár elsőszülött gyermeke, bár néhányan – minden adat nélkül – felteszik, hogy első gyermekük az István nevet viselte.)

4. A házaspárnak a fiúk mellett leányai is születhettek, de ők szintén fiatalon meghalhattak, mivel írásos említésük nem maradt. Az a feltevés, hogy Edward angol herceg felesége, Ágota az ő gyermekük (Skóciai Szent Margit pedig az ő unokájuk) lett volna, nem igazolódott.

If this is the only evidence for the existence of Bernhard, son of King István I, he can be dismissed completely.]
