James Lawson was b. 1758 in Cork Co, Ireland and died in 1852. He emigrated to America from Cork Co, Ireland as an infant. He was a farmer and a soldier in the American Revolution. He died in Conyersville, Henry Co, TN. James Lawson was married three times. His first wife is unknown. His second wife was Catherine Waggoner. His third wife was Jurutha Parker. James and Jurutha Lawson lived for several years in Hickman Co, TN (per Marlin Lawson, a descendent still living in Hickman Co. DFS) His will was filed in Paris, TN in 1853.
