• Married, firstly, Phyllis Anne Montagu Douglas Scott, daughter of Lord George William Montagu Douglas Scott and Lady Elizabeth Emily Manners, on 14 June 1924. He and Phyllis Anne Montagu Douglas Scott were divorced in 1944.
• Married, secondly, Hon. Ruth Mary Clarisse Ashley, daughter of Lt.-Col. Wilfred William Ashley, 1st and last Baron Mount Temple and Amalia Mary Maud Cassel, on 15 June 1944. He and Hon. Ruth Mary Clarisse Ashley were divorced in 1955.
• Married, thirdly, Diana Caldwell, daughter of Seymore Caldwell, on 26 March 1955.
