DeHAAN - Mrs Effie DeHaan, aged 88, of Grand Rapids went to be with her Lord, Friday, June 23, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F DeHaan Sr and her son, Arvin Jay DeHaan and grandson, Lt J.G. Brian Scott DeHaan. Surviving are her children, Joan and Elmer Lick of Hudsonville, Merilyn and Robert Spack of Tempe, AZ, Kenneth and Kathy DeHaan of Kentwood, Nelva and Larry Malcom of Moncks Corner, SC, William F Jr and Linda DeHaan of East Grand Rapids; 21 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lucy Toeset of Grand Rapids. Funeral and Committal services for Mrs DeHaan will beheld Monday at 1 pm at the Kuiper Funeral Home, Wyoming Chapel, (on Chicago Dr east of Burlingame), with Rev H.J. Kwantes officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet the family at the funeral home Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
