On Aug. 8, 1752 at Wethersfield, Abigail m. Capt. Charles Boardman, s. of Timothy Boardman and Hannah Crane, b. Sept. 4, 1725 at Wethersfield where he d. Aug. 12, 1793 (g.s.) They had eight children b. of record at Wethersfield, including:

• ii. Rhoda Boardman, b. July 29, 1757, d. Oct. 10, 1841 at Wethersfield (g.s.); m. Dec. 17, 1781 at Wethersfield (Weth. Ch. Rec.), Maj. Joseph Stillman, Jr., s. of Joseph Stillman and Sarah Wright, bapt. Feb. 15, 1761 at Wethersfield where he d. Jan. 3, 1844 (g.s.) Eight children of the family. Inscription: In Memory of Mrs. Abigail Boardman, Relict of Capt. Charles Boardman, who died August 12th 1 8 1 8. aged 85 years. They rest from their labours & their works do follow them.

Based on her recorded dates of birth and baptism, on the day the widow Abigail died she was 85 years old, and Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of her Age) 86, not 85 as inscribed.
