Daughter of Nathaniel Phelps and Grace [Martin] Phelps. She was the wife of John Lankton. After he died in 1728 she married a man by the name of Wharton who left her soon afterwards.

Abigail Phelps, m. Jan. 22 1708. She married a Richard Wharton about 1737 and he left her. She died Apr. 28 1767 age 76. Called widow Wharton many years. [Corbin Collection vol. 1]
