About Abner Stout
Abner Stout, a farmer near Chester, Meigs County, Ohio, was born in Pennsylvania to Benjamin Stout and Mary Prall Stout. He married Mary (Polly) Stedman on 27 February 1825 in Rutland, Meigs County, Ohio. A few years after their marriage, Abner purchased a farm "about one mile north of the town of Chester where he lived for the balance of his life."
