About Adolph Paust Holmboe

Offiserseksamen 1848 og samme år sekondløytnant i infanteriet, deretter i kavaleriet. Premierløytnant i Armeen fra 1859 og i kavaleriet fra1861. Tjenestegjorde herunder først ved Hølandske, senere ved Næsiske eskadron. Fra 1867 ved gevorbne ekadron, 1869 rittmester og sjef for Vardalske eskadron. 1862-1867 var han fløtningsinspektør i Drammensvassdraget og bodde da i Drammen. Han døde på Hamar. Ugift.
