Died at the home of her daughter, Ann Rowan Buchanan. She is on the left side of the same stone as her husband.
On it it reads:
Untiring in her service to her family, relatives and friends, her life was a Blessing to all around her, her piety and devotion to every duty give Sweet assurance that her final home is among the heirs of everlasting bliss.
Inscription

Adkinson Hill Rowan served as an emissary to Spain for President Andrew Jackson.[16] John Rowan, Jr. was appointed U.S. Chargé d'Affaires to Naples by President James K. Polk, serving from 1848 to 1849.[14][16] Ann Rowan married Joseph Rodes Buchanan, a noted physician of Covington, Kentucky.
