Agnes BRESLIN (BRICE)

The death record of Patrick Shovelin (1822 - 25 Dec 1864) in Glasgow, Scotland lists his parents as Patrick Shovelin and Agnes Brice (Breslin), farmers in Ardara, Ireland. (Brice or Bryce are considered forms of Breslin.) The informant for the death record was Patrick's oldest son, Joseph Shovelin (1839 - ). It is presumed either or both of the parents were living in Ardara close to that date (25 Dec 1864). It may be also presumed that the deceased was born in Ardara, Donegal about 1821-1822 before emigrating to Scotland where he married Esther Hewitt in Sep 1838.
