Ahsanuddin Ahmad

Schooling at Muslim High School, Victoria Park, Dhaka. Graduation from Presidency College, Calcutta, British India. Joined govt. service Ministry of Civil Supplies and Food at Calcutta India.

After Partition of India in 1947 was posted as Controller of Food at Serajgunj, then East Pakistan, under Ministry of Commerce and Agriculture . Promoted and tranferred to Faridpur in 1950 as Regional Controller of Food. Posted to Karachi under Ministry of Commerce and Agriculture as Under Secretary in 1951. Tranferred and posted as Secretary, Jute Board, Narayanganj. 1952. Last position held as Commercial Secretary, Pakistan Dy. High Commission, Calcutta, India, 1955-1958. Resigned from govt. service in 1959. Joined jute exporting company, Multanmull Kishanlal Ltd. as Managing Director till passing away in May 1966.
