Thrown from Lorry.

BEAUDESERT, June l8.

Alan Charles McIntyre (aged 23), of Urbenville, was fatally injured in a motor lorry accident at Rathdowney this afternoon.

The lorry, which was owned by Athole Skinner, of Urbenville, was being driven by Adrian Skinner. When approaching; Tilley's Bridge over the Logan River, about half a mile on the border side of Rathdowney, the lorry hit the bank, and shooting off on to the other bank, the front axle and wheels were torn away. McIntyre, who was on the lorry, was thrown off, and the wheels passed over his body.

Constable Carter, of Rathdowney, summoned the Beaudesert ambulance, but on arrival McIntyre was dead. The driver, Adrian Skinner, was conveyed to the Beaudesert Hospital suffering severely from shock. This is the second fatal motor accident on this road in the last two days.
