Albert V. Bocchino, Sr., formerly of Bernardsville, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2019 at the age of 98. He lived a long and blessed life with many friends and family who fondly remember many great memories of Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, Uncle Al and “Senior.”

He used to talk about all the entertainers, like Mickey Rooney and Bobby Bryne, who came to the bases and performed for them.
He worked in his father’s tailor and dry-cleaning business, Joseph Bocchino and Sons, in Bernardsville and retired from his last job as a Dispatcher for Eggert Oil in 1986.
Al is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Carmela "Dolly" (Panella) Bocchino of Mendham, NJ; his children, Albert Bocchino, Jr. (Bernice) of Morristown, NJ, Gary Bocchino (Maureen) of Spartanburg, SC, Carmela Bocchino of Hackettstown, NJ and Elana Vetrini (Ric) of Budd Lake, NJ; his 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
