Obituary, The Oklahoman, March 19, 2001: Albert William Buchholz, age 70, was born November 4, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and died March 16, 2001 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Albert was born and raised in Oklahoma City, graduated from Classen High School and attended Oklahoma City University. He was owner of Buchholz Investment Company dealing in insurance, mutual funds, investments, and the homebuilding industry from which he retired. Member of the Christian Church and German American Heritage Association. Preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Claudia Buchholz and his brothers, William and Robert Buchholz. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathleen Buchholz; sons, Albert W. Buchholz, Jr., Robert Buchholz and wife Michele, William A. Buchholz, II and wife Dianne, Maurice Buchholz, Mark Buchholz and wife Lisa; his daughter Katrina Dommer and husband Mark; grandchildren: Robert Buchholz, Grayson Buchholz, Trevor Buchholz, Chelsea Buchholz, LeAnn Buchholz, Nicole Dalton, Alexandria Buchholz, Samantha Buchholz, Michael Garrison, Julie Garrison, Austin Dommer, soon to be born Dommer, Shann Buchholz and Zachary Buchholz; sister Valeska Vicars; 'little sis' Ivaleen Seward; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends who will all miss him. Service will be Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. in Smith and Kernke Chapel. Interment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. (Provided by TimelessSpirits)
