Mr. Ellms had resided in town practically all his life and had served his town as selectman and also in other positions of trust. His friends were numerous, his genial and friendly nature winning all while his integrity and fairness made him highly regarded by all who knew him. Crawford, of this village; Mrs. Forest Hutchinson, of East Sangerville; Mrs. H. W. Mills of Elizabeth, N. J., and one son, Ralph Ellms, of this town. The funeral was held at the home Wednesday afternoon at one o'clock, Rev. H. B. Woods officiating, assisted by Rev. I. B. Mower of Waterville. About 35 members of Penobscot lodge, F. & A.
