About Albert Eugene Luhrs
Albert and his wife died of Scarlett fever within a year of each other leaving 4 young children. They were split up to live with relatives. All of them but one kept the last name Luhrs except Clarence who assumed the Luckey last name(Clarence was raised by his mom's brother Otto Luckey).
Albert was a motorman for The Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company and orked out of the Fresh Pond Road terminal, He lived with his wife Henrietta on Lorimer Street in Brooklyn according to his WW 1 draft registration card
