Albertus Wornstaff

Birth: Sep. 10, 1876 Death: Mar. 23, 1903

Born in Ashley, Delaware Cty., OH. He was a bookkeeper at the Ashley Farmer's Savings Bank. A deaf-mute from birth, he was exceptionally bright. He graduated from the State Institution at Columbus and was a graduate of Gallaudet College in Washington, DC. After his early death, his parents sponsored a library in Ashley in his name.
