Alden M Lewis

Alden M. Lewis, 65, of Eminence, died Thursday, April 11, 1983 at the VA Hospital, Louisville. He was a member of the Eminence Christian Church, a retired Navy Lieutenant serving in WWII, a member of the Eminence Lodge F & AM, former postmaster of Eminence and a retired school teacher.

He is survived by two sons: James Lewis, Eminence and Dr. John A. Lewis, Lexington; three grandchildren and three brothers: Garlan Lewis and Gordon Lewis, both of Louisville and Dr. H. B. Lewis, Louisa, KY.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 14th at the Ricketts Funeral Home, Eminence. Rev. John Brand officiated. Interment was in the Eminence Cemetery.
