Aleene M. Crutcher

CRUTCHER, ALEENE M., 91 of Crescent Hill, passed away Friday, September 11, 2009.

She was born August 23, 1918 in New Castle, KY to the late, Ernest H. and Mary K. Brown Crutcher.

She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and gave much love to the care of children formerly at Crescent Hill Baptist Church. She was a member of South East Christian Church. In her later years she was a volunteer from her church to many nursing homes.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Jack C. Crutcher Sr., and her grandson, Jay Crutcher.

She is survived by her two loving children, Jack C. Crutcher Jr. and Marla C. Grimm and her husband Richard, of Cupertino, CA; her three grandchildren, Kristin C. Umberger of Knoxville, TN, Clifton K. Grimm of Lexington, KY, and Maren A. Berry of Corona, CA;, and her five great-grandchildren.

Services to Celebrate the life of Aleene will be held at noon Tuesday by Ross Broadfuehrer in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son-Cralle Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2428 Frankfort Ave., with interment at Cave Hill Cemetery.
