Aleksei Dostojevski

Alyosha Dostoevsky (August 10, 1875 - May 16, 1878)

The youngest son in the Dostoevsky family. The name of St. Alexy - the Man of God was especially revered by F.M. Dostoevsky, which is why it was given to a newborn. FM Dostoevsky was very upset by the early death of his son.

“Fyodor Mikhailovich was terribly struck by this death. He somehow especially loved Alyosha with an almost painful love, as if he had a presentiment that he would soon be deprived of him. He was especially depressed by the fact that the child died of epilepsy, a disease inherited from him. " (Dostoevskaya A.G. Memoirs.)

In the person of the young Alyosha Dostoevsky, the principle of Christ-likeness hidden in the Dostoevsky was expressed.

In the first book of the novel "The Brothers Karamazov", according to the writer's wife, the conversations of the women and the complaints of the mother who lost her son reflected the Dostoevsky's own experiences after the death of Alyosha. He was buried at the Bolsheokhtinskoye cemetery in St. Petersburg. The grave is lost. In October 2006, the St. Petersburg Museum of the writer prepared a memorial plaque to be installed on the cemetery gates.

Алеша Достоевский (10 августа 1875 – 16 мая 1878)

Младший сын в семье Достоевских. Имя св. Алексия – Человека Божия было особенно почитаемо Ф.М.Достоевским, отчего и было дано новорожденному. Ф.М.Достоевский тяжело переживал раннюю смерть сына.

«Федор Михайлович был страшно поражен этой смертью. Он как-то особенно любил Алешу почти болезненной любовью, точно предчувствуя, что скоро его лишится. Его особенно угнетало то, что ребенок погиб от эпилепсии – болезни, от него унаследованной». (Достоевская А.Г. Воспоминания.)

В лице малолетнего Алеши Достоевского выразилось скрытое в Достоевских начало христоподобия.

В первой книге романа «Братья Карамазовы», по свидетельству жены писателя, в разговорах баб и жалобах матери, потерявшей сына, отразились собственные переживания мужа и жены Достоевских после смерти Алеши. Похоронен на Большеохтинском кладбище в Петербурге. Могила утрачена. В октябре 2006 г. Петербургским музеем писателя подготовлена мемориальная доска для установки на воротах кладбища.
