The issue is actually with the son or I might say sons of Alexander. There are two John Blair's at the same location. Both John's show a claim to Alexander. There is a on going issue even with the claim of DNA. The Blair DNA society places the DNA to the larger group of persons to test their DNA. This has placed the John Blair/Eleanor Hamilton as the son of Alexander. My data research goes back to pre-DNA. However the feud goes back to the 1920's. I have left this issue as unmerged and created the two Alexanders. If you have any additional information regarding John Blair/Susannah Ewing with a claim to Alexander Blair I would like to hear about it.

I found one of these at Uncle Lea Blair's home about 1967. I took it home, and that was the beginning of these many years of genealogical endeavors...All because of Cousin Effie. She had no children, but what a legacy she left. I found copies of her work in the L.A. Library--and I made sure copies of her Blair Family history are now in the archives of the Clan Blair Society and the Blair Society for Genealogical Research... I am told I met her when I was a very little girl...Little did she know that I would be the one to carry on her work. We owe her alot. Y Y
