"Son of Robert Gordon of Straloch, was admitted advocate on the 8th January 1684, and an Ordinary Lord on the 19th June 1688, in place of Sir Roger Hog of Harcarse, removed some time before, but was deprived of office at the Revolution, which followed immediately after his appointment ."
