In The ancestry of Eva Belle Kempton published in 2000 by NEHGS the authors point out that Savage made an error and created a wife name Lydia Leland. No such person existed. The second wife's maiden name is unknown. This error was copied to later books. History of Weymouth has the correct information.

Southern Pioneers Alexander Lovell was part of a Southern Pioneer Family.
Alexander Lovell was baptized on 29 August 1619 at Holy Cross Church, Daventry, Northamptonshire, England. He most probably lived with the Michael Bacon family in Dublin, Ireland and, in 1640, probably came with them to Dedham, Massachusetts.
Alexander married, first, Lydia Albee on 30 Oct. 1658 at Medfield, Massachusetts.[1]
A son, also named Alexander, was born in Feb. of 1660/61. Unfortunately, Lydia died a short time later on 1 Mar. 1660/61. The infant Alexander died two weeks later.[2]
Around 1663, Alexander Sr. married Lydia ____ (NOT Leland) and they had the following children, in Medfield: [3]

Lydia _____ died on 2 July 1700 at Medfield; [4] Alexander Sr. died on 20 Dec. 1709 in Medfield at the age of 90.[5][6]
