In 1861 an 11 year old Sarah Lewis is living at Great Walsingham, born Great Walsingham - parents Robert Lewis and Mary Ann.

In 1871 (attached) Sarah aged 21 is still with her parents Robert and Mary Ann. In the household is a 4 year old Annie Lewis - Granddaughter of Robert and Mary Ann, born in Deptford, Kent.

Speculation

This Annie was possibly the mother of Alice Annie born in 1886, and the daughter of Sarah. Only sight of the birth certificates would clear it up!

In 1891 an Alice Lewis aged 4 was living with her grandparents - Frederick H Beazor b1850 in New Walsingham, Gardener and his wife Sarah. There is a marriage of Sarah Lewis and Frederick Henry Beazor/Beazer in Dec 1872 -

The entry is unclear - were there 2 Frederick Henrys?

It would seem that perhaps Alice was the illegitimate child of Annie Lewis, daughter of Sarah Lewis.

In 1901 Alice Annie Lewis is still with her grandparents, aged 14 working as a bookbinder.
