About Alice Spink
Ref: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=francesch...
"When young Robert was of marrying age, there weren't many young, white ladies available, so he, like many others, took on a Narragansett woman as his wife. Her name was likely something like, "Three wolves howling at the moon", which is hard enough to say in English, let alone in her native tongue. So, he gave her a name that was easy to remember, and highly respected: his mother's (Alice)."
H15: found in Scotland, Germany, Poland, Austria, northern Italy, Central Asia (Turkmenistan), Iran and northern India. Probable Indo-European origin (R1b).
H15a: found mostly in northwestern Europe / found in the Eneolithic Caucasus (Shulaveri-Shomu culture), in Bronze Age Russia (Fatyanovo culture) and in EBA Scotland
