If she is a Stanhope fr om the line of Philip Stanhope 1st Earl of Chesterfield (1628-1656), th en she is of Royal blood lines. This would not be too out of place, in th at her husband was descended from Robert the Bruce through his mother who se family was still part of the nobility during this period. If so, s he is most likely the daughter of Arthur Stanhope, b. 1627 & Ann Salisbur y. I am therefore, going to incorporate this into the database. Howeve r, it must be noted that this is only an assumption and no hard facts supp ort it.
