Alice (should be Katherine*), wife of John Bird of Charlton, whose coheiresses married William Holford, Richard Golborn, Humphrey Hill, and Robert Powell.
- ~The Visitation of Cheshire in the Year 1580, pp.. 161-162, give's John de Bird's wife's name as Katherine, and John's name as John Bird de Cherleton. It also lists their daughter Agnes married to Humphrey Hill. The rest of the pedigree matches Ormerod's, Vol. II, p. 598 & 641, with the exception that Roger Malpas is the son of William de Malpas and his mistress Beatrix de Montalt rather than his legal wife.
