Alma Eldora Sedgebeer

Alma Jenkins, the cute lady who resided across the lake in St. Tammany Parish caught the eye of Jay Sedgebeer, the brash young New Orleanean with the shiny motorcycle. She would prove to not only be smart but quite capable. They married and survived a long turbulent marriage. First moving to the city of New Orleans, Jay had worked years in the NOPD Narcotics Division building an infamous reputation. Jay made as many enemies as friends. Upon retiring the couple moved to St. Tammany Parish Louisiana where Jay worked for the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office. Life was more relaxed and the marriage under less pressure. Alma survived Jay's death in 1988 and died as a widow.
