Birth: Mar. 27, 1839 Death: Apr., 1924

MITCHELL, Marenda - {from Sassafras} W.L. Patterson and children attended the funeral of Mr. Patterson's grandmother, Mrs. Marenda Mitchell, Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Mitchell spent most of her life here. She was loved and honored by all who knew her. The body was laid to rest in the Twelve Corners cemetery. [Rogers Democrat - Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas - April 24, 1924] {Marenda should be spell Miranda}
