Almeda C Priester

Almeda C. Hulings Priester was born in this state(PA) and county (Clarion) September 16, 1868 and passed away at her home on Saturday evening, December 26, 1925 at the age of 57 years 3 months and 10 days. Her death was due to complications of diseases and came as a shock to her neighbors and friends as well as to her immediate family.

A large gathering of folks came to the home on Wednesday, December 30 and listened to the well chosen words of Rev. Mellin of the Rimersburg Presbyterian church. The service took place at 2:00 o'clock and was concluded at the Rimersburg cemetery where the body was laid to rest beside that of her infant child in the family burial ground.

Mrs. Priester was married to J. Fred Priester on January 2, 1895, and leaves her husband, four sons and two daughters--Clarence of Clarion, Albert, Willis and Mrs. Charles Saylor of Rimersburg, Oscar and Grace at home, two brothers, Marcus C. and Albert C. Hulings of Tulsa, Okla., and one sister, Mrs. C.C. Campbell, Chesterhill, O. Eleven grandchildren also survive. Source: New Bethlehem Vindicator..Rimersburg Record Friday,January 8, 1926 issue
