wurm-hastings.com shows born 1855 based on age in 1911 Census, but I take tombstone's 1851 as authoritative.
Pat tells me that Almira changed her name from Schamerhorn; see note for father George.
Donald Erickson tells me she established a bakery in Regina after leaving the farm; somebody bought the bakery from her, changed the name, as was still in business at the time of a family reunion in the 1960's.
