Obituary: She married James Woodrow Rogers in 1940, and their daughter, Lura Lee (Rogers) Kilgore in 1942. The marriage ended in divorce. She married Ralph Milton Pratt in 1956, and their daughter Kathy was born in 1957. Alta is survived by a stepdaughter Arleen Ehrig (Jasper); seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

Alta and Ralph Pratt together had a daughter - KATHLEEN KINSEY "KATHY" PRATT WAYMAN - born - July 16, 1957 Hollywood, CA - died - July 29, 2012 Saint George, Utah - buried at Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, Weber County, Utah. Kathy was married to Richard Stratton Wayman - his parents - Julia Adele Campbell 1918-2008 and Leslie Stratton "Les" Wayman 1910-1996, buried at Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, Weber County, Utah.
